Roger that is a really cool post ( the link ) and you are one Lucky Man to have been able to get some one on one with Dan Farr . Great job on those Blades too  . Make sure and post the pics of the finished project . I would bet $$money$$ you're trying to figure out what it is you should buy first,A Forge??? An Anvil??? A KMG Grinder ??? :D Oh what a list !! You're done , submit !! :D

Oh look at that beautiful anvil! sure beats the piece of railroad track I use for doing my forging!

Hey Padrig im so out of my depth in this forum but I have alot of fun with my back yard forging. My wife can never stop being amazed at the concept of being able to bend steel when it is hot. She actually sits around and watches me.

Roger, You've just crossed into the Twilight Zone. Now that the forging bug has gotten its teeth in you, there is no return.

Roger,

Followed the link and checked out the whole story. Darned nice work for your first forged blades!

So, how many things around your house are already on the auction block to fund the new workshop? :D

Thanks guys! I can definitely see where this gets addictive. I'm already thinking about how I could fix some of the many mistakes I made the first time 'round and hopefully avoid some of the whole new fresh batch of mistakes waiting ahead. But I'm not quitting my day job anytime soon. ;)

Well, Paul did say that a man should work with his hands!
