What is Elmax steel? Is it a stainless? Is it a carbon? I tried searching in both the Busse and SwampRat forums and this seemed the applicable place to ask.

I have the ScrapMax. I love it, but I noticed it took a patina, rather quickly. I was curious what type of steel this actually was.

Google it. Im not too sure myself but I did do a quick google search a while back when I was looking at a Zero Tolerance folder. just don't remember too much more than its a somewhat newer steel and is getting good feedback.

INFI has this content Ca 0,5% C, 8,2% Cr, 0,8% Co, 1,0% Mo, 0,3% V, 0,5% Ni the rest is iron. Is a Chipper steel with cobolt, nickel and maybe nitrogen.
