Great article Mist!! I have already seen a few interesting things on trail and camping this year. I sometimes forget that for some folks a walk in the woods might as well be traveling to a different planet. It's always good to be well prepared.
 
Great article. I would love details of the gear used. The pack in use, contents of the tin, etc. Always nice to know what someone with an understanding of the area takes with them. :)

Thank you Tod! Yeah, with the classwork and workshops that I do, I routinely hear of how people are just getting into the woods scene, so it helps me remember that not everyone I meet on the trail is going to have the same understanding of the area here that I have after forty years of experiments and studies.

Thank you. It's a busy couple of days for me, but I will take pics next time I am out and explain parts of it.
