Just got in from the firepit, typical batoning booze soaked mayhem. Check out the bend in my TM DSF while batoning through some nuclear tough hardwood. It went right through the log and came out as straight and true as the day I got it. The coating on this blade is the toughest I have ever seen on any of my Busse blades. I have gone through over 100 logs with it and I am just starting to see the raw INFI.
This is why I buy Busse knives......Chop on
Thanks Jerry and crew for another awesome knife.

On that large of a diameter log, why wouldn't you use an axe or splitting maul????

Nice pic there. I don't have any infi thin enough to really flex like that, that is also long enough to really batton.

The FBMLE is pretty thick, and the Ash1 cg again thick. I guess I could do more battoning with my SS. But really limited to size on that.

MAX - my compliments to you Sir, you are certainly more brave than me to try that with your TM and yes - if anyone ever asks me why Busse or Busse Kin, I will send them your thread. I wish I had bought two more at the Ganza.

Awesome pics looks like a good time. That is one TOUGH MONKEY! Thanks for the pics,

Nice Pic's MAX and you obviously use your blades a lot ...

Like you if I am batoning wood which is wider than the blade length .... and this often happens on good smaller choppers like the FSH or NMSFNO or SAR8 .... I go for two off centre batoning cuts and then do the central section side on ... I don't quite go as far in as you do though .... that cut looks to be as long as the blade length .... and I like to have a bit of "spare" length for the baton. You're obviously giving that knife a good bit of use though and it seems very effective ...

Well.... Now that you have abused and voided your warranty on your TM, send it to me for disposal. :D

Awesome pictures.

If you look closely you'll see that your knife isn't actually bending. . . it's just smiling!!!!!! :) :D

Very cool ! ! ! !

Jerry :D
