A couple of boxes finally made it through the Arctic wilderness that is apparently the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex... Didn't have a lot of time to play last night, but I did unbox and change out the scales on this one....just for bigghoss. The terrorists did not win!





More goodies to check out and hopefully get some photos this weekend. Going hog hunting tomorrow night and, with luck, will break in a BK2 on the processing. Christmas party for work Friday night, so not a lot of time then either. If only I were a "Man of Leisure" like DerekH...except now he's a "Slacker Extraordinaire".... More later on the box o' Beckers.

You do like the double negatives! I figured I best unbox that one first.

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm a part time gun dealer (FFL holder), so I was able to get those wholesale from one of my distributors. I'm not getting rich, but the extra money helps pay for part of my hobbies. In this case, I was looking for a good knife for butchering hogs in the field and read a recommendation for the BK2. I remembered that my good friend Bruce (Weaponeer) had mentioned Becker knives before, so I asked his opinion. After talking with him, I decided I best evaluate them all to see which one I would recommend to my hunting customers and hog hunting friends. Due diligence and all that... He has asked me at least twice if he sold his BK1 Brute to me. Sadly no, it wasn't, and I certainly wouldn't sell it back to him if it had been... :)
 
If I had a box of 1095CV in the shape of KA-BAR Beckers arrive at my door I would probably have a heart attack... Even If I knew it was coming. Nice TKC scales (I think) by the way, very cool. :thumbup:

You are correct! Those are TKC scales in MIL Spec Camo, and do like them a lot.
 
That's what I call a big ol' box of fun! Very nice 9 too, those scales are stunning!
 
Damn! Thought for a minute you were hosting a BeckerSouth get together, what with all the swag in that thar box.... I think I need to look into the FFL--wholesale connection as the Zastava M92 i just picked up ate a hole in my Becker funds....
 
Looking good! I think my next Becker will get a set of those G10's instead of factory micarta.
