Frank - This newest one of mine instantly made me think of you. Its a BEAST.

Massive head on 32 in racing handle. Sheath is is pretty good shape, but doesnt quite fit the bit. To me the handle doesnt fit that head weight, but I am not too familar with racers. But it is SHARP and I bet that thing can do some damage. I am thinking about putting a 36 inch handle on it, if I can find one to fit that eye.

SWEEEEEET!!!!! I'm jealous yet again.

Make sure you try that 32" handle before you replace it. My connecticut is on a 32" and it is a dynamite length. Course it's not that big.

Handle is loose on this - going to have to replace it. Racing handle to stay with the head, or just go 36 regular handle? I dont think a regular handle will work, the eye is very long on this beast.

Hello Big O...She looks good. And still with most of the label to boot. Pity the sheath doesn't fit, nice branding on it. It would probably need some rivets though. My favorite haft length is 32" but I reckon 36" would look great on a head of that size. Like you, I believe an axe needs to be pleasing to the eye as well as the hand.
Thanks for posting. regards...Frank

It is massive, probably the largest and heaviest axe head I own. I cant believe someone uses it. On that 32 inch handle it seems alien. So top heavy, though I guess that could help, but I wouldnt want to have to yank that thing out of my piece of wood. Yikes.

I dont think I am going to rehandle it, cause then I will have to use it, and then there goes what is left of the label.
