I got my first fixed blade small and slim enough to EDC, Buck 102 Woodsman

I ordered my first scale, for the 550

And I ordered a CRK small Sebenza 21 Insingo w Carbon Fiber inlays

All of these things are steps into more advanced knife ownership, and I owe it to you all, a great big thank you.
None of that would have happened without you guys! Thank you BladeForums.

The 102 woodsman is a very fine knife. I got my first one in 1969, used it for 30 years as my fish and game knife, caping knife, and sometimes edc knife. By 2000 is was a skinny sharp toothpick, so the better half bought me this one. Now 14 years down the road, it's still a great trout and bird knife and camping knife.

Thanks everyone.

The size of the 102 is just perfect...barely know it's there but when I need it the size and stability I need is there also.
I'm so very excited for my first CRK as well, the knowledge gained accompanied by these new acquisitions in my short time as a member is priceless as well...
There is so much more to learn!

I was eyeing traditional knives at the store I bought the 102 from....I'm not sure where to start there are so many. All in good time!
