I & my son were in a park today, and met a guy with a rescued greyhound. One of the most calm, friendly dogs I've met, but protective of her owner as well.

There is a rare loyalty among dogs. It's amazing.

When I was at Fort Hood the MP K-9 kennels was right next to company. I used to love watching those guys work the dogs.

Can someone tell me where it is located?

As some may know the Marines used Dobermann's during WWII in some of their campaigns. They were called "Devil Dogs" by the Japanese.

My Dobermann died almost 11 years ago and his memory does not fade. He was most generous, allowing me to live in his house, sit on his couch and sleep in his bed. The feeling of security with him here to protect his home and his possessions and me has never been equaled by any other dog I have had.
