My CQC-8 just came in and is she a beauty! I have come to the conclusion that my hands must be the same size as Ernest's, as every Emerson I own just fits the hand perfectly. I swear that the handle on the 8 is gripping me back. Centering and f&f are great and the lockup is nice and early.Sorry, no pics atm.. :o

Congrats! I have admired the 8 from afar, it may be my next one. Awesome blade.
In the meantime, maybe my mini commander will be delivered tomorrow. :)

Me too, at least that's the plan anyway. Are you gonna try to edc the 8, or will it be more of a "weekend warrior "?
 
I edc my 8 and I am floored by it every time I draw it from my pocket. Great ergos, cutting geometry, love the chisel grind, and the wave is growing on me fast. I used to love tip down with a spyder hole, but the wave is so quick and easy.
