This site is for the birds!!!!

You know, the neat thing about the internet is that there's a site for everything.

For example, some people collect staplers:
http://www.vgg.com/swingline/index.html

Here's a person who collects ugly bridesmaid dresses:
http://www.uglydress.com/

But here is one of my all-time favorite internet sites:http://www.uniformfreak.com/
If you want to know what the flight attendant on an Air Belgium flight in 1995 would have been wearing, this guy has that information for you.

Oh, and don't forget this site http://www.balisongcollector.com. That guy is crazy! 800MBytes about balisong knives! Can you believe it?

I worked w/ a guy in NYC who raced pigeons. Had a newspaper/magazine & everything. Pretty cool I guess- no worse than our curious affliction.
Indeed- there is a home on the 'net for everybody.

Gollnick,

Who takes the photos at the balisongcollector.com? The one with the lemon and ice is quite breathtaking.

Most of the pictures, including the series done on ice with lemon slices as accents, are my work. You can pick mine out because they'll have (c) www.balisongcollector.com usually in one of the corners in small type.

Thank you for the compliment.

Pigeon fanciers are everywhere. I raise Chickens as a Hobby (just a couple of the Bantam varieties) and whenever I attend a Poultry show there are always Pigeon folks there. If you want to try your hand at raising Chickens or Pigeons or other fowl you can check out a place that sells all kinds of eggs called Eggbid.com

Most of the breeds of Pigeons are beautiful birds and some due very unique flying tricks, but I have never felt the urge to raise any (even though I really enjoy my chickens). Different folks just enjoy different things..... like Balisong collectors..... those guys are a whole different breed from us "normal" knife collectors. :D
