I've been playing with hatchet handles again. I still love Acetal but I have never found anything that would stick to it. The stuff comes in black and white. Every time I go to get some, all they have is white (Just like a Deer's tail)
It is also slick when it gets wet, even when it is sand blasted.
Last night I decided to try something. I sandblasted a handle, wiped it down with Acetone and used Truck Bed Liner on it.
I used it for about an hour today and didn't rub off any. It has potential. I'll really work it over on Sunday. Can't do anything tomorrow.
My wifes Birthday and our anniversary is tomorrow. She just had to get married during Deer season. :grumpy:
Now our daughter wants to get married next October. :grumpy: I told her that once for me was enough and if she got married during hunting season, Our Airedale would have to give her away!
I'm not real popular around the house this week!
