Once again ebay allows blatant copyright infringement and this time it is Busse Combat Knives. Probably some chinese made garbage, but this time it has the Busse company logo on it which is just not right.
Busse, I hope you can contact Ebay and get this garbage taken off.

There’s a guy selling them on there. I’ve seen them as “replica” and as not disclosed. I’ve reported to the shop… and one on Amazon.

Ya, it sucks.

It is one thing to call it a replica / homage and make it look like another knife but it is entirely something else when you put the company name and logo on it; I am not a lawyer but I am pretty sure that is illegal. There have been a lot of "Benchmade" fakes out there shipping from china, but this a'hole is in Oklahoma, USA.

I told Jerry about this one a few days ago.

It can only be called reproduction if it is licensed through Busse. I report them when I see them a fraudulent, if everyone keeps on reporting them they will wake up. I am thinking that a class action suit against eBay launched my a majority of knife makers may be the only way eBay will listen. This is going to only get worse. It got so bad with watches that they have a verification service now. The only way it would work with knives is that each knife come with a serialized certificate of authenticity and a corresponding serial number in the blades themselves that can be easily searches and verified. This is really going to hurt the secondary market . at least get the model family right! It's obviously a steel heart!

I saw that before. Even added it to watch what happens...its an expensive fake, and people bought it. I think, even realizing it's fake.

But from what I remember the shop isn't too keen on bringing these fakes up in the forums. So let Jerry know via email...I may be wrong on remembering the forum protocols

You are correct.

I have read that also.
The links or descriptions are not allowed

It can, believe it or not, drive people to actually buy a cheap knock off.
I have seen it happen.

no need to advertise for the honor-less knock off people.

best course of action is to e-mail the shop.

report it as a knock off or IP theft to pay-pal

There was a fellow, Courtney Holt, in (I think Broken Arrow) Oklahoma doing Busse knockoffs a while back. I wonder if he's at it again?
