I was at a Local Gun show & saw this blatant rip off of my favorite Busse, (next to the AK) The Original Mean Streets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

These freaking M-Tech pieces of crap need to be dealt with, I thought about buying it to chop up but I did not want to give the POS dealing all these knock offs one freaking cent, sorry for the harsh language but this burns me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They even copied the old Busse Factory kydex sheath !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:grumpy:

I think everyone buys busses for their function and durability. Not the design of the blade.... which seems kinda ordinary imo. their 440 version wont sell at all.

The main reason anyone buys a Busse is because of the INFI "super steel" . . . no-one wants a cheap Chinese copy made out of 440.

The only reason Chinese balisongs and OTFs sell is due to the novelty of a "forbidden" knife. The Busse is rather ordinary . . . except for the steel. M-Tech will not be able to sell many of these abominations. Most of the morons who purchase knives at flea markets want "fantasy" or "commando" blades.

holy schnikies!

somebody made a forgery!

somebody made a forgery!

they should be forced to endure a locked room with amy-o, after she has been deprived of caffeine and coors light for an entire week!

Someone has to buy one, chop it in half or snap it while prying something simple. I wonder how thick it is. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!

That blades been out for a while. I remember seeing one at a gun show about 2 years ago.

and theres a bunch of other ones that bring up immediate recognition when I see it, I just cant put my finger on where they stole it from. like the one they have that looks like beggs work. and strider. and xizar. and a bagillion others.

Mtech makes its money by stealing designs directly with as cheap of steel as possible.

I owned one of their balisongs.... You had to tighten the pins every time you used it, otherwise you were threatening yourself with impalement when the handles fell off.

MTech is a company own by chinese? It says "MTech USA" on the logo.

If the company is not own by Chinese I would not say they are "Chinese Copy". Problem is the company who copied them, not those who build them. They just made what they are told to make living. (Does not mean the action is right, but, factory workers hv no authority to say "I won't built a copied design knives.")

In this very case I just want to be fair. Since.....I am a Chinese.

With that said. Man, those bastards. I know this day will come. Pissed me off all the time when one trying hard to make a living and some seek for an easy way out. What a shame. :thumbdn:

I do not know who the CEO of MTech is. I suspect MTech and Master Cutlery have a common owner, and that owner is likely an American. Like many companies who manufacture discount cutlery, there is a 99% chance the manufacturing is done in China, and "China" or "Taiwan" is on the tang stamp.

You are correct that the factory workers are not complicit. They are exploited. Nearly all of the world's counterfeit products originate in China, and are manufactured by underpaid and abused workers who are unaware of their employer's criminal practices.

BTW, tyr_shadowblade loves Chinese people. :)

they still must be referred to as Chinese cheapies, since that is where they are made, and it would be illegal to manufacture them in the US. The Workers are not at fault. The Scumbags calling the shots are.

think ill buy one and chop it up with my ruck. then send it back to mtech, and say:

"this is what happens to forgeries!!!!!!!!!"
