Yep, it's another Porch generosity thread, and the source of the generosity in this case will come as no surprise to any of you who know him. Our good friend Randy (r redden) sent me a package containing these two wonderful knives.

The first is a beautiful old Camillus camp knife. Randy mentioned that this one was pretty rough before he gave it a little TLC, and although I didn't see it in its "before" state, it looks great now, and I don't think the spearpoint main blade has been sharpened more than a few times, so there's a lot of life left in this knife. I love the shield, too!

The second knife is a practically unused Camillus TL-29. Pretty sure this one still has the factory edge on it! I've handled one of these wonderful knives before, but never one in such nice shape.

(Sorry for the lack of additional pictures; the wife and I were headed out to dinner shortly after arriving home and picking up the mail, so I only had a couple minutes to CE & CF these knives and snap a quick photo in the waning daylight. I'll have to take some more thorough shots when I get a chance.)

Thank you so much for this fantastic gift, Randy! You're incredibly generous, my friend!

Very nice pair you've received! Enjoy those two.

Kudos, Randy. You are truly one of the best.

Randy is truly one of the best around here. Great knives Btb01, real users, and I hope you do. That's what they were made for-though with gifts it can be hard. I know.
Thanks, Neal
