Hi guys,
I have this knife and there are some things I can't understand:
On the internet there is one like this called "Timberline" and an identical one, or just about, called "Neeley Timberline", why?
What could be the year of production?
What materials is it built with?

Thank you all.

the late Jim Hardenbrook , Vaughn Neeley, Bill Sanders made "Timberline knives" in the 85 -90' .
They mostly used 440C steel.
V. Neeley and B. Sanders are still making knives based on the Timberline designs.
Both use their own name as a mark now.

Timberline was the brand these were originally sold under. It was a small shop kinda like Randall. Vaughn Neeley was one of the owners and makers. Fast fwd a little, and Timberline is sold, but Vaughn Neely retains the rights to make the custom versions.

Thanks for replies.
How do I know what it is worth?
The knife is part of a collection that, unfortunately, I have to sell.

Can't ask about pricing on BF without a gold membership. Try Google and ebay

It would be well worth the gold membership cost to join. You will be able to get values and information. Plus you’ll be able to list and sell on here.

imo, timberline whilst under gatco
had only one amazing piece...
timberlite folders with the neeley lock
had an inherent design flaw. in that the
knife unlocks by sliding out the blade
away from its pivot to release from its
internal slotted catch.
a blade may accidently unlock itself
should the user tug on a blade caught
or jammed in dense material.

I believe your fine, and if you like knives like already mentioned you can sign up for a gold membership. It doesn't cost much and you can buy and sell without the worries and also learn alot as well. Oh! I forgot to mention Welcome to BladeForums.

Thank you so much.
The problem that I am in Italy, I think it is not easy to ship to the United States for the shipping costs and for the customs rules. It's something I've never done.
