This CS Master Tanto is a production knife which still in production. So its hardly increase any value because people still can buy it directly from CS dealer.

Okay, I done did read it and wiped out the post.

I don't know about "still in production," pardner. That particular knife may not be completely discontiinued but CS hasn't made them for a while now.

CS themselves don't have 'em for sale. And I sure couldn't find one for sale by dealers anywhere on the Internet either. When you get to the dealer sites they all say "not available" or "backordered."

I finally thought to look on ebay completed auctions. No new production ones there either, sport. I think I saw one "new, old stock," but that was about it.

I saw one in mint/new condition on ebay and it sold for $236. The CS website had a sale price of $319 on the model I was talking about. (SAVE $80, it said).

I paid a hell of a lot less than half that for mine from a dealer who was going out of business. Maybe it's not a collector's item but the used ones got tons of bids on ebay.

Somebody's buying them. Maybe even collectors. :)
