This was a Sebenza Summer!

My summer is quickly winding down. I've decided to commemorate this summer as "Sebenza Summer"....after purchasing about "cough" 20 "cough" Sebenzas, it seems like a justified name. In my defense, I haven't kept them all!
I still love my "H", I just don't carry it :p
Oh and I love my giraffe Mnandi, but I just admire it.
I am concluding my summer with my purchase of two formerly owned Mammoth Bark knives...then the plan is to go on sabbatical for a bit...at least that's the plan.

There's one knife I bought this summer, on July 1st, that has turned out to be my constant companion. It's the one in the photos below. It's not super rare or highly sought after, I don't get PMs about it to buy it, I just totally dig it.

When I go into work, I won't be able to have it on person, and I don't think I can have it in my purse...so I'm beginning to have a little bit of separation anxiety.
Do you have a knife that you adore that you carry with you? Please post a photo of it. :D

20 Sebenzas in one summer, wow. I have been seeing your posts and some of your youtube videos lately Lisantica and I am a little awed. You haven't even been collecting knives for a year (judging from your join date) and you have already racked up 20 Sebenzas and even a rare Korth balisong. What caused you to start collecting knives like this?

Lisantica taking a sabbatical from buying Sebenzas? The market will collapse! :) I'm knew here, but have already been watching you snatch them up like hot cakes. Cool collection!

I have really enjoyed seeing your Chris Reeve acquisitions, thank you so much for sharing. One Large Lisa's pick that I really am happy with is this one

I'll tell you one thing - A Sebenza "sabbatical" is no picnic if you really love these things. I'm about 6 months into mine and counting. It's even tougher when an excitable new collector shows up and vacuums up all the really sweet pieces floating around.;). The upside is still the community here and new and interesting CRK that keep showing up. Seriously well done, Lisa. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Starting a CRK collection and having time on my hands turned out to be an expensive endeavor. I did obtain some sweet pieces, no doubt....some of them I didn't even know were hard to obtain until after the fact. I enjoyed the journey and if I had to do it all over again I certainly would...of course there's always next summer! :D

Gee thanks, I didn't even realize how many I bought since November until I saw this post. :) It's better not to think about the money spent. I don't have any of the really rare ones that you've picked up but I snagged 10 small and 7 large with one more small on order. Also picked up 3 Umnum's. Must not think of money spent....must not. Hehe.
Mine weren't as hard to find but still harder than some since they all had to be left handed.

This forum is nice because we don't feel so bad about our hobby since it allows us to interact with others that share the same affliction. :)

It lets us know we're not alone. Maybe I should have saved some of that money for a nice camera. :D
