That is a Hackman Survival Knife from the early 1970s. It should have a blade 1/4" thick and a leather sheath with an elaborate sharpening stone/compass/whistle tool in a pocket. These are very collectible when complete.

Question was easy - for me - a Finn got a Finnish knife. In Finland this Hackmann is called 'Vietnam puukko'. I don't have one
