Well, knives are not just a hobby anymore, they are an obsession. I have become infatuated with Hudson Bay camp knives, specifically the "Chief" version. I can't bring myself to regularly carry my Sebenzas or Umnumzaan, but want to pick up an SNG CC for EDC use. I just got a Case Tribal Spear, and can't stay away from the junk shops, in my quest for old, worn out slipjoints. It's been a couple years since I sold all of my Swamp Rats, but I want them again, specifically, the same models . I won and traded into some great custom bushcraft/outdoors knives over the weekend at Scott Gossman's campout, and only want more. New production knives do not excite me as much as discontinued ones; I am searching for the Spyderco Starmate and Benchmade 800.

I thought this madness would end, but it feels like it is only starting. I've been able to push away from the custom folders table...

Some people may think we have an obsession with knives, but around here its normal. I see no crazy person in the mirror....

so i think there was enough striders in that pic that if i sold them i could get myself a decent truck

Holy crap that a lot of striders.

All those Striders= 4br 2.5 bath, Master bedroom, Central Air, 2car garage Wooden deck, washroom, Kids loft, Chef Kitchen, Landscaped front back yard
Yup, thats a lot of Striders

In my case I brought some obsessive-complusive disorder to the table before I re-entered collecting knives. Not a good combo for this hobby. Might as well have taken up smoking crack.
