Ok, i am now neutral on spiders, I always had issues with smaller knives i got full size blade. These blades are all in the 3 inch plus pushing it legal or just legal.

EDC for pros:
1) never carry AO for self defense in city type areas
2) always carry 100% deplyable blade. While i could carry a hand gun, i do not have permit after so many many years. Use an AO if you can not assure yourself of deploying your blade.
3) rule 1 - check size! recheck size! and see if it is edge or total length!

May your blade be dry and knife sharp!

This weeks carry and play ground..... and my favorite is the non-AO kershaw - ya i am k junkie for 33 years. oops i think i stuck in a safe queen ... guess which one?

i just got most of those in trade - how can you use all those in a week?

i thougtht it was interesting group about 1/3 of mine from years back 2/3 i just got in trade.

this is years worth of edc! i am always looking for trades!

the pro's stuff, is like butts we all have one - imho, that was just mine. again those are knives i got in trade most of them this week. hence the edc of the week title. i got get off the computer screen is giving me a headache - i can only type in late night.


just a strange note, as your super powers are unlimited. my freshman year we beat the local catholic team at football never beat them before went undefeated so we where the super heros. we all got have drawings on our practice jersey. i was iron man i played the right middle linebacker and gard and all specilities. i could have used a suit of iron wow was i tired! next year i just played middle lineback then on.

perhaps i should be iron man? but it so over used now.

mr unlimited power! is way better!

Dude...I can barely follow your train of thought. Talking about iron man and football after showing a bunch of random knives? Maybe you should relax on the coffee or something eh?

This thread is about a batch of knives, i just got 2/3 rds of them ON a trade on BF. I was very anti spyderco until last night, due having issues with the deployement of the release mechanism. excuse my typos as i can not look directly into a computer screen due too eye issues.

i found this:

1) spyderco is great system if your thumb sinks into the hole and i am a convertee

2) kershaw AO is my choice for, non knife people who need self defence and absult fail safety, family freinds and those who are knife adverse - i gave out 2

3) while i am kewshaw junkie, the 550/551 is difficult for most, the 6-9 deployment is distracting, i have been using thumb studs for 2 decades.

my point...... just a nice photo of some nice knives.... Now i have to write an "i am sorry" too sal at spyderco. Did he, not make my tommy Moe jacket? ya, i have an orginal copy his olypmic jacket. I post a photo of my moe jacket later!

you can not follow me? research it!

i spent 12 hours with that set, edc of the week, was my edc group of this week. I am always looking for trades! Sal, i misjudged your knives on too small of sample knives - i am big, person. This is not too show off, it is a fact to be considered, i am size 38 pants, 280, and 6-2 with big hands, fat. ALWAYS TRY KNIVES IF YOUR ON A LIMITED BUDGET~

i think with spyderco your thumb must fit into the hole properly, if right, i not sure there is a better design? other then AO which is quasi legal IMHO

half of the new knives have been given as gifts or as part payment.

spyderco, was hard too part with and will be replaced with several more as i find it too be highly reliable deployment mechanism.

it was in reference too the avatar - IMHO - your avatar should be a knife, group of knives, your knife shop, your fav;s etc.

i am hard too follow, but then again............, i leave info it is upto the indvidual too research my data if they wish too. It was just a bunch of knives, i thought it made an interesting photo for EDC newbies.

Spyderco is great
kershaw AO is 100% reliable for newbies.

rest are just comparison photo - take what you will?

Yeeeeah...I'm just gonna say congrats on the new knives, and that I think you should give a PM2 a try if you really want to fall in love with Spyderco. Sorry if my first post seemed rude, I'm still having a little trouble with your tangential typing.

i will be buying more spyderco many more!

the pm2 i check out, i have large hands and fiingers i am just big lot years of extreme sports, working out etc.

any other sypderco ideas am open too - i like the best, good steel etc. A $30 knife is gifter. old people have that advange and if you young i feel for you as each gen gets f woarse. if your 25-33 you really got f d.

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about with pros and iron man and tommy moe jackets and stuff, but either way, nice selection. Everything from S&W to ZT, talk about running the quality gauntlet...
