Got this pic off site I ordered it from (a member of this forum 'knives ship free')... It being the knife I just ordered from them, and it will be my first GEC :-) My first Toothpick, first GEC, and first time ordering from this dealer... Hope to be happy with all three first experiences.. got the old fingers crossed :-)

Don't think you have a thing to worry about.

Great frame, great company and great dealer.

Enjoy!

Hope you'll be very happy with it

Congrats! GEC knives are nothing short of OUTSTANDING quality. And yes KSF is a great experience also. You'll be very happy with your new companion!

Boy did you just screw up. Kiss your savings goodbye 'cause these GEC produced knives are not only very, very nice, but also very habit forming. Just a few weeks ago I decided that I had spent enough for this year (I've bought a boatload of knives, mostly modern) and then I picked up a GEC Workhorse Whittler. I can buy just one. Riiiight. Have 3 more GEC knives on the way. :(

Yours is beautiful. Very nice choice. BTW, I need to get a toothpick... :D

Great looking blade! When you get it let us know how you like it ok? I am a big fan if larger toothpicks. I have two right now. GEC has a great reputation.

Congrats you will love it! That is one pattern that I still haven't purchased yet but I've always been drawn to it and wanted to try it out.

Uh oh... hope the addiction is not too harsh on me, lol! ;-) Thanks for the reassurances, guys :-) This photo is of the last display I finished off. It contains some Canal Street, Buck, Queen, Utica, and Case knives :-) Another display I just started will get my new GEC when it arrives :-)

Well now. That's a heck of a knife "PKJ". Very striking covers. I have the Powderhorn versions. Good choice on your part

Enjoy! I just picked up my first toothpick as well, also a GEC!

Thanks again, guys.. I could'a went with the free shipping, but went one grade up with priority...I want things NOW!... lol!... That is the little kid in me ;-)

Nice choice! I just received my first toothpick a couple days ago. As a matter of fact, it is my first GEC and also my first traditional.

I spent weeks making my choice out of so many - I feel I did great as the toothpick meets all my expectations and just love. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Very VERY nice. You'll love your first GEC. None others like it. Love the color of it. What is it called?

Tom

The full name, I believe, is Plum Jigged Bone #12 Toothpick... It says it is serialized, but do not know if this is a limited edition... or just serialized in general.

What GEC does when they serialize a knife is to have a limited run of them. If the COA or the box doesn't give you the total in the run, you can make your way over to the GEC website (.net, not .com) and see the production runs for every knife, for every year, which are serialized, which are not. The .com address is more of a sales site and has less of the kind of info you'll find on .net.

Have fun with it. :)

I know that feeling. As soon as I order a knife I start checking the tracking every ten minutes.
