As you all know my wife died in late January. A few hours ago I came home to find my house smoking. Fire in the main bedroom. It is trashed. Mostly that bedroom. Smoke damage all over. Shop is OK I guess and I have good insurance. The big bummer is my African Grey Parrot, Odie died. He kept me from being totally alone. Poor little guy didn't have a chance. I always figured he would out live me. Bummed to the max. Sorry to dump. Had to get some stuff off the net. At the libary Anyway got to go find a place to stay. Fire marshal will call me when I can go look and see what its like. Can't use phone here. Later. Jim

I don't know what to say.....

All I can say is I'm sorry and I'll continue to pray for you. You're not alone, we're here for you.

Dude!!! That really sucks.:jerkit::jerkit: I really can relate, if I lost my dogs like you lost your parrot, I would be F'ing pissed too.
Hang in there Bro and if you need someone to talk to, just call me on my cell. 508 951 2719;)

Oh man, that sucks Jim. I'm so sorry.

I guess you'll be moving to Montana soon? Perhaps things will turn around with a fresh start.

I'm sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers your way.

Jim,
I can't relate. I don't know why some of us....you..... are given such challenges.
I am not sure I could have made it through what you did in January.
It seems really unfair to be further stressed....
I don't know what to say.
May GOD keep you strong enough to survive.....

Really sorry, seems like you can't win. I hope that it turns around real FAST. Maybe this is how you get rid of the house so you can move. I am VERY sorry about your bird, if I lost my cat I would be devasted!

Jim , you are being told . Montana is where you belong . Pick it all up and GO . Take care of the other business with INS. by phone . I hope I do not sound harsh because you have our prayers and best wishes . Just sometimes there are forces telling you things and as hard as it may be or against what we believe is right , they just must be done for all harmony to return . Shucks , I sound like some weird guru , but I believe this . Mother Nature of time heals all wounds when allowed to .
I think I better get out of here .

I can relate to a point, hang in there- my heart goes out to you, sorry for your pain.marekz

Shucks Jim, I'm terribly sorry to hear this bum news. The heck with Montana (for now). Make a trip to Hawaii! There are lots of opportunities here to sooth a weeping heart. Anyway, hang in there FRIEND and keep on keeping on. It all comes out in the wash...eventually.

This reminds me of the bird lover who travels to South America. He finds a uniquely exotic bird and sends it back to the states to his Dad. When he gets back home he asks his dad how he liked the bird. His dad said he tasted great. His son freaks and exclaims that was one of the worlds rarest birds. That it could speak in several languages. His father said, "really, so why didn't he say something?"

Lame jokes aside. We love ya man. Do what ever you need to do and know that there are a WHOLE BUNCH of us goofy birds sending you lots and lots of good mojo.

Jim,

I don't know what to say other than "Hang in there". I know if I lost the dogs or the bird it would be devastating.

As my wife is fond of saying though "Everything happens for a reason". You may not be able to see what that reason is until much later, but just remember that every door you walk through leads to something new.

Take care,

-d

Thoughts and prayers for you, my friend. Get the bad luck out of the way now and maybe the rest of the year will be peace and sunshine!!

I hope peace finds you and your sun shines soon!!!

Hang in there, I hope things will get better. At least you didn't lose the whole house.
