So Ashokan was revolutionary as usual, learned LOADS. Next year is the special sword themed event, where the focus is only on swords.
So I figure I need to WOW, and hence I will set myself goals this year.
I will only focus on 4 swords. 1 katana, possibly polished. 1 euro longsword with a hollow ground diamond cross section. 1 fantasy longsword LOTR based but NOT following ANY Weta design, following information from the books only and personal design decisions. 1 rapier.
No more machine finish, on anything. Hand rubbed finishes on guards, pommels and blades.
Everything will be precision fit, I will get a set of file guides to assist with this. I have the information now there is no excuse.
No more parachord handles, unless it will have leather glued over it.
More of a plan when I go into a project, allow for some freedom of materials input hehe but have a plan to atleast start with.
No more letting my hands get ahead of my head, no more "waiting for the next one" to do something right.
It will be a fun, challenging, and exciting year!
