:D I'm broke. Well, more accurately we're expecting our 3rd child this year, which while a blessing puts my spending to a limit in buying blades this year. So with a self imposed limit on myself and my loved ones, I'm noticing a trend for blades on my wish list.

To start, first requirement on all folding blades is a thumb hole, no thumb studs. So the Spitfire, and a Vantage Pro jumped on the list. Then everyone NEEDS a 110 right?!?!

Then, fixed blades. The Vangard and the Paklite large skinner seem to fit my liking just fine.

So literally, on my list this year, are all Buck knives, no other manufacturer, just Buck, that come with a forever warranty, made in the USA, decent steel and materials, that are all......................... AFFORDABLE!!! Only one over fifty buck is the Vantage Pro, and for that I feel guilty but s30v come on!!!

My wish list is all Buck also. Vanguard (on the way), 110 and a Buck fillet knife to start. I'm also looking real hard at a folding Alpha Hunter. I'm also interested in the Sentry / Endeavor. The Sentry/Endeavor would be real close to the top of the list if Buck offered a none serrated blade.

All Bucks on my wish list too.:) (other than a new wood splitting axe...lol)
More Buck Kitchen Cutlery with rosewood handles
Alpha Folder with S30V would be nice. I have 2 with 420 and I love them!
Frontiersman
General
Need a new Woodsman
The new Marksman would be nice
Something with stag handle or scales
Empress Trio
704
And the list goes on and on....

and I just today mailed in my application for, my very first time, annual BCCI membership, so I have to figure they will offer something spectacular that I will desperately desire......

Dang, I better start squirreling away every penny I can.....

On my wish list is a nice MM Bowie, in stag shoes. Then we will see what Buck's life sends my way.

Thats funny, I'm on a Buck binge myself right now. I just got my regular 110 in today (I bought the finger grooved model first). I suddenly realized last week that I own over 60 blades and consider myself a collector at this point and didn't have a standard 110! How did this happen?! I'm debating this week over the 112 fg (got the plain one already) as I prefer the feel of the no -grooved models.......but....you know.

Update:

So, instead of the Vantage Pro, I waited and got the Marksman 830, and man I am glad I did. So for this year it's only been Buck. Vangard would be next, but I saw an xray of the tang, and wasn't sure about how strong it is?

Well, this is the group shot of the Buck family:

Nice collection! getting back to your original post I agree 100% What other company offers such a tremendous combination of customer service, selection and quality?! I'd put Buck up against anyone.

Thanks Doug, I have to be honest, the Vantage lineup was my gateway, and Jeff Hubbard took good care of me when I got a few that were off. Because of his customer service he has a customer for life here.

Rip, it's soooooooooo worth it. :) Just gave it to my Wife, to be held for the next month until my birthday. Already missing it.
