Thomas or anyone else that might have the answer......
How many of the 1670BRNSG2 and 1670S60V Blurs were produced and sold??

Last I heard, there were 1,320 of the the 1670BRNSG2's produced.

The final tally of the 1670S60V Blurs that made it to retail (NGK) was supposedly 10. I think that there were 14 or 15 total that met Kershaw's stringent QC.

yeah, good luck with finding those s60v's. there are so few it is crazy ridiculous trying to get one. there are a crap load of XXXX versions (factory seconds), but not alot of the non-seconds.

SG2 is alot easier to find

For a daily user, a XXXX is perfect. There is nothing wrong mechanically with the knife. They are XXXX'ed out for cosmetic purposes only. I have a few, and to be honest, I can't find a flaw on any of them. The ones that don't pass QC for any other reasons go in the big barrel!

The option of having the XXXX knives solves a lot of mental anguish most Kershaw fans have: I want to keep it minty fresh, but I want to use it too!

I don't think you'll find any XXXX S60V's out there, and the SG2's are becoming harder and harder to find. Good luck in your search!

I wish I'd never heard of this blasted warehouse sale!

Any chance us unfortunate east coasters can get in on the action without showing up? :D

OH dear!!!......whats a Kershaw collector guy to do to get his hands on a XXXX S60V Blur????
Any special considerations for a guy with almost 40 Kershaw knives???
Im begging here!!!....lol
Throw a guy a bone huh

Not sure what the reasoning is for wanting to know but if you were just wanting one or have trouble finding an SG2 Blur and talk nice you may be able to talk me out of one of my four of them. :D Its one of my favorite Kershaw models in that steel. Thats my favorite stainless steel since using it on that first one which was the best I ever tested personally. I was really amazed by the performance of that one and I really like my SG2 JYDII frame lock also. In normal use for me with the things I use my daily carry for a good SG2 blade like that one should go about two years between sharpenings. You can't beat that with a big stick IMO. :D

Anyway, Kershaw knocked one out of the park with those and the composite ZDP and 110V Shallot models which I have one of each of also. Top notch USA made and great steel designed by a master maker.

Keep the grand slams coming Thomas.

I have a question for the experts.
What do you think a s60V Blur one
of 14 would bring on the secondary market?
Does anyone have an idea?

I've never seen one on the secondary market, so I have no idea what one would bring. I don't think anyone would put theirs up for sale. I know I won't!
