Thomas Jefferson’s Knife

I came across this article on Monticello.org, showing a picture and various details on the famous president’s knife.

Can anyone identify what specific knife model that possibly Sheffield could’ve made that looked like this?

Sorry I can't answer that but I've been there and seen his knife. I highly recommend a visit to Monticello.

My Great Great Great Great Grandfather joined the Continental Army on July 22nd 1776.

Wish I had his knife as well.

Also wish I had the land they titled to him in Virginia for his service at the end of the War.

Monticello is an amazing place--my only regret is that I didn't have more than one day to see it.

A bit of advice--there are two levels of tours. Do the long one, and come back the next day to wander the grounds and museum on your own.
