What will be the next mass-produced SpeedSafe Onion under $100 MSRP? I.e., what will be sold at Academy, Cabela's, Bass Pro, Etc...?

Will it be completely new, or a redesign? Or anything at all?

Jeremy, the next new SpeedSafe Onion that will be produced in volume will be the "Need's Work". Slightly offset 3" blade made from 13C26, black Polyimide scales. It made its debut at this years Blade show. Someone will no doubt post an image. MSRP $49.95. Delivery is set for early November.

Looks sweet, any plans to make a slighty higher grade of that one? Awsome wharncliff/utillity blade on that one!

That handle looks awesome! And I've always been pretty fond of Wharncliffes. I think that knife belongs on my wish list.

Nice looking knife. What does " slightly offset " mean? I'm pretty new and don't know all the lingo. thanks Z

Thanks Thomas!

Good Work! Great Steel for that price!

How long has this knife been public knowledge? I've never heard of it until now:confused:

Looking forward to owning it though!

Everyone go to the 1630 Cyclone thread and vote on the next ZDP Cyclone!!:D :D

I think it means that the main cutting egde is not inline with the handle, hence offset ??

Since we're on this topic, i've been wondering how the Junkyard Dog 1 and 2 are coming along as well as the Groove, I really wanna pick all three up.

Located right here in the main forum! Ti framelock vs. G-10 liner lock, another chance to help Tom and Kershaw make cutlery history!

Sorry if this has already been answered Thomas W, but will the JYD or the Groove be SpeedSafe? I didn't see thumbstuds...
