So, I bought 34 Half Tons and they arrived today. Most are going to be stocking stuffers or thrown in toolboxes, but a friend asked me to make his a clip point. While I was at it, I did some other things.
The main modification was to make it a clip point, but he insisted on an exact shape.
I think it looks a bit funny, but it's what he wanted. I left the edge alone and ground it so there would be no loss in edge length.
Also, I ended up making the jimping on the handle deeper. All the way down to the steel liners deeper. I also added minor jimping to the blade spine.
The jimping really helps.
