Hi all I just joined the site but I've been a crk customer for the past 10 years.

Well today I decided to edc my benchmade 275 adamas solo, normally I edc my CRK large Sebby 25 with a boker subcom Titan. And normally I'll throw a small sebby in with any larger folders I edc (spyderco's, benchmades, strider, zt, Emerson, ect) but today I was really feeling the BM275 and thought all was well until about 5 hours into work. I felt as if part of me was missing, I've had a CRK in my pocket daily for over 5 years now. I felt naked :(

Point being I have more faith in Chris Reeve Knife than any other manufacturer.
Not knocking the BM275 great tank of a knife. But still to me lacking the security you feel with a Chris Reeve Knife.

Just something I noticed.

You EDC something other than your CRK???? :) I'm in the process of selling a bunch of other knives because I'm finding that I carry my small Insingo 99% of the time. The only time I don't carry the Insingo is if I travel and don't want to leave it in my checked luggage.

I almost always have my small, plane 21 with me. When I decide to carry another knife, it is usually in addition to the Sebenza, and even then it is often another Sebenza..

Beautiful knives, Sebenzas. In fact, they're one of only a handful of knives I own multiples of. But I bore easily and it would only be a matter of time before my Sebenzas gave way to another of the many fine knives in my collection. The nice thing is, I don't have a specific timetable for what I choose to EDC. I wake up each morning and select whichever knife happens to appeal to me that day. Sometimes it's one of my Sebenzas. Sometimes it's not. By actively rotating through my knives, however, they all remain special and interesting to me.

When in an office setting I often only have a William Henry knife with me. I had a few William Henry knives before my first CRK so I only bought large Sebenzas figuring I have small knives covered. A large Sebenza is not exactly office material at least in my office.

While I'm still waiting on my first Sebenza to arrive, I completely agree with your EDC rotational philosophy. We'll see if the Sebenza changes that, or if I just end up buying more Sebenza variants for the rotation.

I work in an office also, and my Zaans or Sebbies look weird in a pair of dress pants. The slip pouch helps, but still a little large.

Now after work? Different story, but then ai find it's lately been my Emerson Super Commander.

I do love my Sebenzas, however, and my small pivot Zaan is a piece of art. I am SO glad I got them.

Ya I edc a lot of different knives, BM940-1, BM940, BM275, Spyderco PM2 (s90v), Spyderco manix 2, SOG Aegis, SOG twitch 2, CRK Umnumzaan, Spyderco sage 2, Case Mako, Buck 110, Spyderco pacific salt (fully serated), BM griptilian (s30v), Boker Sub Com Titan, Sog flash 2, CS mini AK-47, CS American lawman, BM940-S, XM-18, XM-24, ZT0560, ect

I edc those a lot but always with a CRK, now there are knifes that I own that I use frequently that I didn't list (mainly beater knifes) ex gerber para frame 2 makes a excellent doorstop/ paint stirring device.

Like I originally said I always pair a CRK up with something (I get bored easy)... My usual is my large plain Jain 25 sebby, paired with the Boker Subcom Titan. Great team those 2 make

Strictly lg CRK's for me….Reg Damascus, Insingo, Um ,,,,, you know the drill…..

I haven't carried my Large Carbon fiber Sebenza around yet. The thought of losing it out of my pocket makes me hesitate to do so, but I'm going to make a leather belt sheathe to carry it in. For EDC I rotate between a Benchmade Lerch Subrosa, Spyderco Domino or my Manix and Sages.

+1 to this. This is how I chose what I carry each day. Anything is fair game.

I've given up carrying other knives. My choice is which one. Off duty its my large star benza and at work its my Mnandi.

To the gentleman who posted about a carbon fiber sebby! That's the next CRK I'll be buying I'm so exited!!! I'll probably snag a small one down the road aswell!!

Your going to like the carbon fiber seb no doubt, Cvardeman. I carried it today for the first time, in the leather pouch. It fit in my jeans right pocket nice and snug.
