Did you do anything to the handle?? The design is cool but I find it a little odd that theres no handle material...Odd, not bad.

Could you put G-10 or linen micarta on it??

You could do anything you like to the handle: cord-wrap it, put slabs of natural or artificial materials on it, dip it in plastic. No problem. Just make sure whatever you do is to the part of the handle that doesn't touch the sheath, or you'll have to modify the sheath, too.

I immediately wrapped my handle with boot laces. It fills my grip better and is easier on the hand that way.

Yeah paracord is the obvious answer I guess. How does the knife perform\feel Especially weight wise. How bout for outdoor type chores? I would like a fixed blade for work, but I cant wear one on my belt because of the occasional on-off of tool bags. Im not big on the neck knife idea, so somthing like a tech-lock or something thats quick on-off belt to tool bag or something would maybe be worth a shot.

I think a smallish fixed blade will save my folders alot of wear and tear (even though they can take it)

I got my Necker last week and I haven't really used it yet. I think the knife is a little bladeheavy because of the short, skeleton handle.

I wrapped mine with paracord and that really made the handle more comfortable. I've been thinking of putting G-10 on it but I wouldn't use micarta because I think that the increased weight would make the knife less suited for neckcarry.

Otherwise I really like the knife and I think it is a great substitute for a folder if you prefer fixed knives.

nice looking knife, but I think they want wayyyy toooo much ducats considering the size and the maker.

With a street price of around $40, I think that's a decent price.

I dunno,
Ontario's Marine Combat knife runs about 40 and the aviator's survival knife, about 25.

seems outa place...

I've got a BK11 on order. Should have it next week. Can't seem to find these Tech-Lock clips that everyone is talking about though. Where do they sell them at?

I find the Necker has a great blade, good sheath included, Tek-Lok compatible if you wish to belt-carry, light carry weight and excellent concealment.

Some not-so-great things:
- Three-finger grip.
- Even when wrapped, hard cutting gets painful quickly.
- The outside tips of the bottle-opener need stoning/sanding to prevent irritation.
