Those one-piece survival knives

I have long been impressed by those CR hollow-handled, one-piece knives.

I understand that the latest model is the Project IV.
What are the differences among the various models? And which one is the best, or most popular.

Below is the Project I. What were the evolutionary processes of this particular model?

The Sables are my favorites. I like the thin sharp tip, the oriental/scandinavian design influences. I have covered the handles with thin bicycle tube rubber for the ultimate grip and insulation.

bagman, I use a Specialized 700x20C. It is very thin but makes a great grip.

thanks I will look out for one of those, we have 3 bike shops in less than a mile on the road in Oxford where I work so I should be able to find something.

I've read you should roll them up like a condom. Then, put it on accordingly......
