Those who bought knife harnesses - still using yours?

I was wondering if people who got knife harnesses still liked them after having them for a while. In my study, advice is given that for defensive fixed blade use, you need to adopt a carry pattern that is habitual and unchanging. This is for the fact that you want no question of where to go for your tool in the unlikely event it's needed.

For harnesses, I started thinking about times when it's real hot or in hot environments. Also, what works for both suits and for jeans type of wearing.

Has anyone gotten a harness and still likes it? Did you change your clothing habits in adopting a harness carry so that you have it on you a lot? Or did your harness wind up in the closet gathering dust like the proverbial "work-out sit-ups gadget of the month" advertised on TV?

My JSP rig is great. I only use it occasionally during the winter. It´s hard to conceal during the summer and in some social functions.

I mostly carry IWB or a folder otherwise.

I have a JSP Execulite rig. It is very adjustable to an amazing extent. The jury's not out yet as to whether I will adopt this method of carry. These things, you don't know about it until you try it and mess around under different circumstances.

This is a great question.

I think that a great deal of thought has to go into how you will carry, and as you are considering a given method, whether or not you are willing to make the appropriate changes in your wardrobe/lifestyle to make the method work.

I find that I carry in my pocket most of all, and that as much as I have thought that it would be a good idea to carry static-lined, I have never adopted it.

I carry my SS 'Fly in a neck rig from Eric "Normark". I picked up both a 'fly and a salsa rig, but the fly is easier to carry(not as thick).

I wear the sucker 24/7 since recieving both the rig and my knife back, and plan to get a few more rigs from him.
