Those with SOCFK and Specwar

Will be getting a big retro check soon and will probably buy a new knife. Not considering the better quality or the Wave of the SOCFK, I am wondering, in a side-by-side comparison, is there any difference between the two? It is hard to tell from pictures, but it looks to me like the blade profiles might be a little different. I am just wondering how different they really are from each other. And, while I love the Wave, there are times I do not need the blade deployed right out of the pocket, and find the Wave still tends to catch, opening the blade slightly.

Am I a bad, bad man for saying I don't always use the wave? Please don't ostracize me!

I believe the SOFCK and Specwar only differ in blade design. I was just at the EKI site, looking at the Specwar, and comparing it to my SOCFK. The bodies seem to be identical. As for the blade, the Specwar has a false edge (at least, that's what it looks like - I'll compare it to the blades on the CQC6 and custom 7) while the SOCFK has a curved top edge. And, of course, the SOCFK has the wave, and the Specwar doesn't.

The two are close, but in my opinion the SOCFK far out classes the Specwar. The resemblance is only skin deep.

The blade profile is much better on the SOCFK (again my opinion). It has the wave (how can you go wrong with the wave?) and the body has the newest generation in styling. Complete with the traction grooves that are incorporated in the scales as well as the liners. Plus the way the thumb ramp matches up is pure sex appeal.

I don't remember who said it or when, but I once read that while the Raven is an awesome knife, the Specwar is a Raven on Steroids- I will augment that by saying that the SOCFK is a Specwar on viagra.


 
I guess my actual question got lost in my post. What SPECIFICALLY is different about the blade and handle profiles?
