that is go all day without an Emerson in my pocket.

Last week I traded a Commander that I rarely used and almost never carried, for a couple of other knives, which both arrived Saturday. One of which is a Benchmade 710, and I really like it. So, this morning I thought I'd carry the Benchmade and leave the Emerson at home. Yes, there is a second knife that always gets carried, but it is not currently an Emerson and isn't really relevant. About 3 hours after leaving home I started to feel a little uneasy not having an Emerson on me.

I work in an office, I don't frequent bad parts of town, I might use a knife to cut up an apple, or a couple boxes throughout the day. I'm into Emersons, Benchmades and ZTs. What the hell is wrong with me? Why do I feel this overwhelming need to always carry an Emerson? This is ridiculous!

Don't fight it, go with the flow...

It is a good feeling to have an Emerson in my pocket.

There is nothing wrong with carrying multiple tools. :D Emersons are very reliable and about the most comfortable folding knife I have ever held.

Still looking for my first Emerson, I have owned pretty much all other brands, but that one brand that I admire so much I have never owned haha

I only had one Emerson for a long time, it was a CQC-10 that I chose after going over every knife they had at a show. It was the most comfortable one for me. I liked it so much that I had some really nice work done to it. It wasn't until a year later that I got my next two, a 7V and a 7B, then another drought up until the past 30 days when I got a Journeyman, 2 Persians, and another 7. Now looking at a Karambit and always on the lookout for a CQC-11 and an A136. They really grow on you.

I'd love to find a CQC-11. And an EDC Tanto. And a Super 7. Damn it never ends! The Super 7 is at the top of the list currently.

Thanks for the info on the Persian, just shipped it to EKI for left hand drill and tap.

Sweet! Nath said for me to send my knives to him in December, and hopefully they will be back to me by February.

That seems like a quick turn around time considering your plans and shipping times. Definitely looking forward to see those when he gets them done.

Yea, he lets me know when he's almost ready to do them that way the wait isn't too long. Great guy to deal with.
