Very nice choice. I have never had the chance to fire the .357 sig cartridge but by all accounts it is a winner. I have a Sig P220 and it is a fine pistol as well. Please let us know how you like it and the .357 cartridge...
Sproles try some Corbon 357sig ammo. I had a friend who took down a small wild pig with that load. He was shooting the 229 which has a shorter barrel than 226. I love my 220 in K Kote. Matteo what are Nill grips? I have some Hogues on mine with hex head screws that I like alot.
The Company that did the work is CCR and is quite reasonable in their pricing. I sent my last pistol (Springfield XD) and LOVED the work they did. Brad (owner) is SUPER friendly and very helpful.
The .357 is one HOT load. I took it out yesterday and put 150 rounds through it and my wrist was sore at the end of the day. I used to shoot .45acp and 9mm and this baby is hotter feeling than either of those two. I am very pleased with the pistol, the finish and the cartidge. Now, if I can get used to the SNAP that the 357 holds...I'll be one happy dude.
I've admired and handled some Sigs and they fit my hand great. I really like the way they look and they have a great reputation. However, I've heard that because the barrel is so high (in relation to your hand) that the gun rises quite a bit between shots due to the torquing action. Any comments on that?
