So, a few weeks back I picked up some TKC scales for one of my BK-10LEs. Having several other knives with TKC scales, I knew these were going to be awesome, and they definitely were. Well worth the money.

Orange isn't my thang, but they're still nice scales. :thumbup:
 
Thanks everyone! Yeah, they really are fantastic scales. Might have to buy another set for my other 10. :D
 
nice scales. use it well. i need to get a 10... parted with one a while back
 
Love the scales. I've been about this dang close to pullin the trigger on some safety orange tkc scales for my 'zula II.

The only problem is if i pickup the scales now i wont be able to pickup a 10 if it comes out between now and next paycheck :D

I gotta buy myself a celebratory present for finishing my semester tomorrow though...hehe
 
looking good man.. did they come with the hardware?? and if so what does the left side of the handles look like??

love the bk10... totally replaced the 2 for me... tho embarrassing enough I haven't even used my bk le10

never purchased them myself, but if I'm not mistaken they come with their own hardware and 2 allen keys to put em on.

Not sure if the hardware looks the same on both sides or not though.

I have a set of the orange Izula II scales on my orange Izula II. I love those scales! Well worth buying.

Yeah, they come with all the hardware you'd need. Two different sets so whatever model they are going on, you'll have the right bits. They look the same on both sides, like the hardware used with ESEE knives handles.

Thanks! Just took a quick jaunt into my back yard, which is pretty much just woods, no grass. It's kind of nice.
 
Also, they are a little thinner then the factory handles, but that isn't a huge deal for me, they are perfectly comfortable for me. Some liners and you'd be good to go if you have larger hands.
 
I keep coming back to this thread and looking as those damn scales over and over again. So sweet. I would like some in ranger green but I could also buy another 16 or BK10 instead. A little pricey but maybe worth it.
