I've been lurking for a while now and then I finally signed up not too long ago since I have a bunch of ESEE knives... But I figured I'd stop in and say hi as I'm a proud owner of the not so famous SAR5... I don't see many posts about the knife but IMO it is awesome for what I need it for.. Hopefully sometime in the near future someone will be willing to sell me a nice Game Warden :D

I'd be happy to sell you a Game Warden, but you're not going to want to pay what I charge you for it.... hehe! ;)

Well considering what most guys up here in Canada charges for a Game Warden I wouldnt be surprised if ur was cheaper!! :D Its actually really rare that one comes up for sale in the canadian forums.. Also doesnt help when most guys don't like the hassle of shipping to Canada :(

Welcome to Bladeforums! You're going to like the Busse family, and the knives even more :).

You guys seem like a great group of Busse addicts, thats why I had to say hi :D... I'm not gonna lie my Sar 5 is my best blade in my collection.. Nothing seems to be as stout and well built!!

Welcome to our little corner of the asylum !

The SAR5 is a great knife, despite what the Boss says about it. One of my favorite trail knives.

If you think your SAR5 is a stout blade, wait 'till you get your hands on a CGASH or FFBM. They'll blow you away .

I've been thinking about getting a FFBM but i want to see and feel it before I pull the trigger on one... right now I'm dead set on either an active duty or a game warden they just look ohh soo sexy!!

There have been a lot of Game Wardens floating around on the Exchange lately. I like to keep an eye on them myself. I know that a lot of folks don't have a problem shipping to Canada either, so I think you'll find what you're looking for.

FWIW, I have completed several transactions to Canada, both incoming and outgoing, without problems. If I was looking to unload a blade I would have no problems selling to you. Good luck in your quest.

Oh, and welcome to the madness!!

Good to know cause i've been on the exchange latley trying to find a nice Warden... Some of the guys say Conus only.. But I guess it never hurts to ask.. My main worry is the customs guy inspecting the package and seeing a nice shiny Busse and decides to keep it for himself :D

Welcome to the "Pork" side of the force. I share your love of the SAR 5. In my opinion, it is the most useful woods/hunting knife made by anyone. It's handle and choilless design, allow me to use multiple grips, for any task. One thing, I did do was to round off the back 1/4" of the blade, so it would'nt cut my index finger when I choked up on it. The only Game Warden I have is the Hammered GW(not for sale). I like the GWs smooth handle, but wish the blade was a little longer. My Custom Shop AD and MS get most of my belt time, because of their longer blades. I Busse comes out with a 4" Game Warden, I'll jump on it so hard, the ground will shake.

Welcome, there's plenty of GW's around the exchange to fit most anyones desire. And some guys ship all around the world, so keep looking.
I'm sure you'll find your grail Busse around here.

Welcome!

Put up a WTB for a GW or AD, and specify that it's going to Canada. You might get lucky.

I have shipped two knives to Canada recently, and did not find it to be a hassle. Based on the advice of others, I used Express International to get the tracking necessary for PayPal protection. It costs the buyer about $20 - $25 more than Priority would in the US.
