Here's some more that I've aquired recently.

Top: Sambar Stag and Turquoise with a partial chipped flint blade.

Middle: A WBC Malachite & Cocobola with mirror polished blade and file work

Bottom: A WBC 923 Skinner, Malachite & Cocobola with a mirror polished ATS-34 blade and filework. The COA says the blade is 420HC, but the blade is engraved with the Bos symbol and ATS-34.

Flat, didnt you post a bunch of scale options many months ago or do I have you confused with someone else. If it was you, I'd swear you had coco and I've seen your work so make one-why let the custom shop have all the fun:D

The little girl in my avitar is Chloe, and she is Daddy's special baby! She's only about 8" tall at the shoulder and I don't know what I'd do without her.:D

Yeah, it's hard to choose between those two 110's. The COA with the Stag one doesn't say it's by WBC, but I sure see the signs of his work in it.

Yeah, ol' Gordon is pretty modest. I have three knives he's done and I'll stack them up against any I have from the custom shop. He's pretty talented, that guy.

Geez Dave, I'm not even close to the custom shop. But thanks for your kind words. :D Oh, I like your little girl friend there Buddy!!!!

Fritz I've done one Coco and it turned out pretty good. I've got some more in the wood drawer. I should think about doing one. I just haven't been motivated to get in the shop lately.

Here is some bone scale I ordered recently (still waiting on) that I think will make an interesting 110/112 handles. The color is called marigold and the pattern is corn cob.

That will be different looking-in a good way. Should be bees buzzing around-looks like honeycomb

Nice little lady you got there Plum

Dave I thought I pissed you off for posting a picture of scales that really did apply to your original post.

So what do you think of marigold bone scale??

No way my friend. As to the scales, they should make a very unique and beautiful knife. You should get back in that shop and do something with them! But then, I'm a great one to talk about doing anything, I can't seem to get out of my own tracks lately.:o

I got two sets of the Marigolds and two sets of these reds. Seems the jigging is more pronouced.

Btw, did you enjoy that "Memory Lane" email I sent you?

Dave, you did it again... What great looking knives you always get... ... Thanks for sharing... ITE

Dave, what do you use to remove tarnish/rust spots on an old knife?I know this is off subject but I thought I would get your opinion before possibly screwing up an otherwise nice knife. You have some real eye candy, thanks for posting!

I haven't had any rust to remove, but for tarnish I use Flitz. I've had some that were pretty badly tarnished and the Flitz wouldn't cut it, so then I use Brasso.

Thanks Dave,Brasso is what I was thinking,my wife put a fixed blade in the sheath and it sat in a safe for a long time.

Can't get those Pics outa my head Dave, found a custom 110,gonna pull the trigger on it next month!
