I was in a book store today and a saw a book I don't remember the name exactly but it said knives 2011 on the front. I opened the book and on one of the pages i saw a picture of a Rat Cutlery RC-6 with a short description. I thought It was awesome but wondered why they didn't know about the name change?

they probably didn't do their homework and ended up buying old stock and doing their report based on the information included with the knife.

It's possible that at the time information was compiled for the book ESEE was still RC.

Exactly. Books such as these are done way in advance of publication.
