I have been trading, selling, and purchasing some new things for the last couple of months. I thought I'd share some recent ones that I really like and feel will excell in outdoor use.
Here are a couple of new Laconico's sporting his worn finish. I kind of dig the worn aged look to them, but I am not sure I like it better than his finished knives. Anyway his workmanship is excellent as usuall and I am in love with the smaller 1 of the two! Great job Ray!

I finally got my grubby paws on a SBT in a trade!
Very cool knife, this one is A2 and lacking the butt plate, but it gives me an idea of what the knife is all about. It carves quite nice and feels good in hand. It will stay awhile and get some use before I give anykind of review of it. But so far I like. Made this lil spoon with it just now. Fun!

Then I landed this beauty in a trade as well. It is made by Mark Wohlend formerly known as Charlie Ridge knives. It is a very similar design to the Skookum but talored to the original owner specs. The handle is wide than the SBT which I like. The scandi is well done and the handles are fit to the tang perfectly. The steel is 01 which I prefer in a scandi. I also like the lanyard tube placement better on this knife. I plan on getting this knife some work ASAP!

Here are the new scandi's nect to some like minded tools!

Thanks for looking.
