Two weeks? Try two days. I paid for my new Waki on 6-2-10, and received it in the mail 6-4-10. Talk about service! And, to me at least, this Waki is much nicer than the first one I had ordered last year, and subsequently had to sell off for finances. Handle fit and finish are excellent, and seems much smoother than my first one (both are tan micarta).

Pics later, I'm at work tonight. Thanks Eric and the SW crew!

Nice one! Congrats!

Love the hawk too! Custom?

well, the Waki is officially mine now....had it resting on the counter top when I must have run into the butt end, knocking it off, only thinking to move my flip-flop-clad foot, and the Waki fell tip first onto the ceramic tile floor.

Ceramic tile = 1, Waki tip = 0

dented the once syringe-sharp tip back, I tried to steel most it back straight, and then fixed the tiny roll that occurred. wasn't going to be a safe-queen anyhow, but I was hoping for a more suitable break-in!

My shop floor is ceramic tile, I've had a few of those same decisions made for me as well. :o

Nothing like having a serious amount of sharp steel heading for your foot to show you how fast you can really move! Better the knife than the doctor bill.

Jerry needs to stop spreading the love around and make my tanker/BP du! LOL

Y'all need to get in line! ;)

leatherman, you surely hain't mangled leather that I've seen!

:D I tend to mangle my fingers more than the leather these days, but I do turn out an occasional mangled piece, they're my personal carry sheaths. :)
