Thought this was a little weird. This happen to anyone else?

I was looking at some old EDC photos and found this one I uploaded back in Jan of '09:

Old school Leatherman Wave, BG-42/CF Military, Gen 2 flipper XM-18, DDR Madd Maxx III AO and a customized Night Ops Gladius.

I'm not the type to own a lot of knives like many of the other members here. That photo was one of my primary EDC rotation at the time. I generally keep less than 10 knives at any time. Since then, I bought, sold and traded a bunch and am now using this rotation (Demko AD-10 is in the rotation, but not pictured):

New Leatherman Wave, Gen 3 non-flipper XM-18, S30V coated Military, DDR Madd Maxx III manual and a Mac's Customs SST-50.

Have you unexpectedly found yourself going full circle with your primary EDC rotation like this before?

That's very interesting! I tend not to sell/trade my knives, so any similarities are due to carrying the SAME knives over a long period of time. I do find new ones that make it into rotation, while others fall out of favor, but the main EDC choices tend to stay pretty much the same.

Obviously you found a combination that works for you early on, no need to change if it's good :thumbup:

Just wanted to add that like you I have been carrying the same couple of knives in my rotation for the last couple of years.
