...I started getting into leather making sheaths / holsters for knives, guns, flashlights, etc. two or three weeks ago. This past Friday, I bought some shark scrap to play around with. It occurred to me, what better to be make out of shark than a CR slip case? Well, here it is and I really like it. All hand cut, stitched and finished. My two small Sebenzas will get carried in it regularly. I plan on making a Sebenza belt sheath out of shark sometime soon as well; stay tuned :). For those who have never been around shark leather, it's some seriously tough stuff. This case will likely outlast me. Thanks for looking!

Very Nice. I like to use the sheath to keep the CRK looking new.

If you keep posting pics like that, your inbox might get filled up with messages from customers wanting to purchase.

Well done!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'd have to get a sewing machine of some kind before I'd consider selling them. It's just too much work to make it worth my time sewing by hand.

Very cool work. Looks much nicer than the original crk supplied one in the pics. What always turn me off about leather sheaths in general is that they always seem so.. huge for small knives. Like twice the size of the knife, especially in width.

If they where slimmer I'd be all over them.

How much for a large one?

When I get a leather sewing machine, I will probably consider making these to sell. Until then, it takes way too much time hand stitching. Shark (and other exotic leathers) is really expensive too. I'd have to figure out what my cost is on that part as well.
