Hey Guys,

I have looked at many neck knives lately and I think the WOO is an awesome knife.

Yet, I want to hear your guys opinions. I will be using when backpacking and just chores around house.

Thanks,

Mason,
The Woo has a chisel ground edge, and a tanto point(I guess you know that) so I'm not sure how well it will work for just chores. You might be able to order it ground on both sides. I don't know.
Its a nice knife for what its made for, and the price is user friendly. I had one awhile back, but gave it away.

The WOO is my favorite knife from Newt. Strongest, most useful knife for the money. I carry one every day. It will work great for outdoor work/maintanence chores.

I had a WOO, I gave it away. Nothing wrong with the knife other than its a tanto. I noticed at a previous show that Newt had a wharncliffe necker, but I had already blown my money. Next time around I will get a couple of them. Newt makes good stuff, and if you like tantos, then you will be happy with the WOO.

The Woo is an excellent knife and great for the money. It is better as a weapon than a utility knife. The LP by Newt is better as a utility knife. All of Newt's knives are exceedingly well built and good value for the money IMHO.

Although it does not mindfully keep guard in the small mountain fields, the scarecrow does not stand in vain

Works great, but looks like hell.

Rather pay a few more bucks for something that works as well and looks prettier, personally.

I think a carbon steel Shrade Sharpfinger would be my choice in the same price niche.

Right now I own three Woo knives (Exec, Ti, and Regular cordwrapped). Personally I prefer to carry my Celt. In short, I like the little fellahs a lot. I am not a fan of chisel ground blades, but we are talking about knives for using and abusing, and for that it doesn't make much of a difference.

This summer the Ti Woo will probably be a constant companion (as soon as I get it back from my buddy) and the Executive Woo has earned a billet attached to my camelback shoulder strap.

Get one!

I'm not a fan of:
==================
1. chisel grinds
2. carbon steel blades if to be used for neck carry during anything approaching warm/sweaty weather (rust)

The Woo is very inexpensive.
