I recently started a knife similar to this, but I wasn’t happy with the way it looked, so I changed the design a bit more. Any thing I should change to make it better?

On my device, the picture isn't showing

I can see it now.......

Ways to make it "better" are going to be of opinion...

Me personally I don't like sharpening coils, and I don't like harpoons, especially on a small knife.

But those are just My opinions. Some people might love that stuff. You should make the knives that YOU want, my opinion, or other people's here, doesn't matter.

I will ask a pertaining question though....
What is the blade thickness, and what sharpening angles, bte thickness, too?

*Edit to add...
I really like the pommel, looks like a comfortable handle.

If you are deadset on a “harpoon” i would bring it back and make it more of a ridge for your thumb instead of up further on the blade but heck it doesnt look bad as is. Somebody would love it, thats the great thing about knives.

Thanks for all the feedback, fellas! I understand that the harpoon point might not serve much purpose in a utilitarian sense, but I wanted something with a bit more visual interest than a drop point, and I don’t love how a straight clip looks on a knife with a lower tip like this one. I drew inspiration from Scott McGhee’s Piranha and XO models; I figured that being a master smith, he wouldn’t put a raised clip like that on a using knife if it made it harder to use. I started a blade in a very similar pattern to this one, and I like how the raised clip feels, but that might change with scales attached and everything. I think I will go ahead and do away with the sharpening choil, though

You said you don't like drop points..... Then maybe don't make it a drop point.
If it's a hunting knife,
What about bringing the tip Up higher?
I could imagine it looking pretty sweet as a straight-back

Overall a great profile. One of my favorites. The only thing to adjust, to my eye, is that the blade angle can be canted down just slightly to continue the curve of the spine all the way to the thumb ramp. It's subtle but something like this:

We must be living in alternate universes. I recently came up with something very similar.

My idea definitely isn’t an original design, but honestly what knife design is original these days? :) Also, I really like that handle material. Denim micarta?

Right. We are lucky to really be able to pull from great designs and use that to our own advantages. Happens all the time :)
