A Warbeast is on my short list of things to get when I go back to work. He's been doing this for awhile, and apprenticed under Bob "Two Hawks" Thallman. A lot of them are in the field, in Iraq and Afghanistan. You never hear anything bad about them, the guys who have them seem to like them. There was an article in Tactical Knives about them a last year, they got a good write up. His practical models are light, handy, and would make good working tools but it's his combat hawks that most people seem to like. I've handled most of his models, and while the Warhawk is lighter, and probably more practical, the slightly larger Warbeast is the one that sings to me. WAAAAY more spendier than a Cold Steel hawk, but good tools are not cheap. You've seen them, you know they are much better built tools, only you can decide if they are worth what he's asking. I like em.
A hint: buy the competition model, have the other edges sharpened, and you have a Warhawk for half the price.....
