I have a couple Enzo Trappers both in O1 and in D2.
The O1 is nice & tested at 58 RC but the D2 seems harder but never tested the D2.
The O1 & the D2 both make a nice spark off of my firesteel.
I took the O1 with me to Colorado for a 3 week trip and I was very happy with it. It kept it's edge and went through some trap making, tent stakes, and a make-shift tripod. Of course the standard fuzz-sticks and just your normal small whittling we do when we camp.
I did bring a strop and a small diamond stone with me. I never had to use the diamond - just stropped it to bring it back to crazy sharp.
They weren't big enough to baton with, but I think it would do just fine with hardwoods even though what I was cutting was pretty green.
The food did put some patina on the blade - but I like that anyway.
Since then I bought 4 Enzo Trapper blank blades and there is some variance in the grinds - some are perfect some are just OK. Not that bad - I am picky, but nothing some time on the belt grinder can't fix.
