Thoughts on Freeman 451 Flipper?

I just came across this knife and really like the looks of it. Anyone have any experience and/or thoughts on this knife?

I really like it. The one I have has terrific action, perfect centering, great lockup and the button lock is one of the better ones I've used. In terms of cutting performance, it's what you'd expect from the grind.

It's not my favorite looking knife but I love everything else about it. I've decided it's a keeper.

Do those weird striations on the blade have any noticable effect on cutting?

Really sweet looking knife. Haven't heard too much about them here.
Will be doing some research now!

They did't seem to make much difference on the Kershaw Zing model that had them either.

I love my Freeman 451BLF. I got one of the early ones and it's awesome. I've never had any issues with the grooves on the blade affecting cutting, in fact, to me, they seem to keep the blade "on track" especially when cutting up cardboard. Mine has had moderate to heavy use with no change to lock up and centering. Its only the D2 version and has held an edge as good or better than expected. Jeff offers the knives now with Ti handles and S35VN blades and I'd love to pick up another someday.

It's a tank of a knife, fantastic fit and finish and tolerances are spot on. I love the 451 design as the lines just fit my hands great. The lines on the blade don't affect cutting at all but look great.

Great knife, holds up to loads of use, fantastic flipping action and the button lock is loads of fun to use.

I'm thinking it might qualify as one of the more underappreciated knives out there. I have yet to see anyone say anything bad about them but you don't see a ton of them out there in the wild.
