thoughts on Greg Lightfoot knives

I love the look of them but have yet to actually play with one. Anyone have any experience with em? ER

I`ve handled a lot of greg`s knives and in my experience, they are exceptionally well made. They look great as well. I doubt you would be disappointed.

I have one. Bought it when I still was in my "tactical" period. Very well made folder. Also the first custom knife I ever owned. I agree with Keith, you won't be dissapointed.

Greg's work is fantastic! My first custom was a Lightfoot...since then, I have purchased 4 more, including some one-off customs. I have also handled dozens of his knives at knife shows. On top of it, Greg is a great guy...I know him well enough to consider him a friend (he has been over to my place and we have gone out for dinner almost every time he has been in town for a show).

I'll confirm what the other members are saying. I've owned 2 of Greg's folders and they are very well made with amazing grinds. I have also held Greg's newer models at the CKG show over the past few years and I can confirm you will be buying a very high quality folder or fixed blade.

Here's a Lightfoot that I carry often. The blade is 3/16" Damasteel, handle slabs are elk antler and the sheath is Kydex covered in sharkskin. It has a small TEKLOK that allows vertical or horizontal carry. Very sturdy, good looking and functional knife. I love the blade.

I own one of Greg's folders and it is well made, solid as a rock. His work is functional and looks great. Materials (carbon fiber scales and damascus blade on mine) are top notch. If you are seriously considering buying one of Greg's knives, have no fear. I've handled many and they have been extremely high quality.
