I currently use Tuf-Glide on my folders and was wondering if anyone has tried Quck Release?

While I love the Tuf products for protection my blades, and use them on all of them as a protectorent, I find many other products that work better as a pivot lube.... These days ordinary urea grease is my preference. I've worked though the Teflon lubes, wax lubes, mineral oil, various gun oils, etc. Nothing gets my blade out faster or smoother than urea grease, subjectively speaking, of course. But you have to use it sparingly.

i use quick release and i like the stuff. i had some knives sent to me by the guy that owns latama cutlery and i was amazed at how smooth the knives were even though the tolerances were extremely tight.

i put some on quite a few folders that have been sent to me and i noticed a big difference in how smooth the blade moved.

I looked up that urea grease as I had never heard of it and it appears to have been made for high temperature & high pressure applications. I'll try the stuff if I ever come across it. Thanks.

Okay, thanks. I think I will try some of that stuff out since I am almost completely out of Tuf-Glide. Thanks.
